Invest in yourself

Invest in yourself. Literally.

Today, I decided to spend a decent chunk of money on the future of my nutrition coaching career by enrolling in G-Transformation Academy’s four-month Macro Mentorship certification program.

It’s scary because it feels like a pretty big investment up front, but I know that what I will learn will be invaluable and will help me reach my career goals.

If you’re new around here, you may not know my story when it comes to weight loss. Long story short.. I have struggled with my weight and my relationship with food since I was eight years old. In the summer of 2019, I joined a nutrition group at my gym and dove into the world of tracking macronutrients (carbs, fat and protein) and learned how to eat what I love while losing weight in a healthy way – both mind and body.

I lost 30 lbs and have kept it off, something I have never achieved in my entire life of dieting.

I became so passionate about the macro-tracking strategy that I decided to become a @nasm_fitness certified nutrition coach so I could help others achieve what I did. In May 2020, I launched Get Gritty Nutrition and immediately began working with clients.

Fast forward 10 months and my business is doing well, but it’s time to take it to the next level. My goal is to eventually leave my corporate healthcare marketing job to do Get Gritty Nutrition full time. Although Get Gritty is doing well, my business needs to take off more for me to feel comfortable quitting my cushy corporate job.

That’s where Eve’s Macro Mentorship comes in. In early March, I will embark on an extensive, four-month certification program to learn even more about macros, running my business and lots more.

Am I nervous? Yes. Am I excited for the opportunities this may bring? Hell yes.

I’m currently working with 14 clients in my Grit Squad program and then I’ll take some time to focus on my certification course. Learn more about my journey, macronutrients or my macro nutrition programs.
